I can't believe I'm already live in Calgary for three months.  Times are flying.....
O.k, talk about topic.

There are some difference in lifestyle between Canada and Korea. Actually Korea, sometimes called like drunken country as a joke, is good country to play outside. There are lots of store and restaurant open 24 hours, and delivery services are also good. We can order food anytime you want to eat. So meet my friends late at night sometimes, there are nothing to do. I find one noodle restaurant closed at 4 A.M, but it's only one. And price of beer is toooooooo!! expensive(n.n)... How can I pay only one cup of beer,,, over 5$!!..... Talk about one more thing. There are not many places to go out, only park, pub, and karaoke. There is nothing. Every time I go out with my friends, nothing but take a walk in park, go to the pub to drink. Hmm, there are some sports center and,, other things but it's far from my place. However, enjoy our life talking with people, gardening, and having a party is really good. Actually, in Korea, everyone do just their works, even in family, it's hard to find time talking each other, but here, I can talk  for a long time even with a person whom I first meet. And lifestyle in Calgary is relaxed. I like this compare to Korea.

Taxes too ,,, I usually forget that I have to add taxes and tips in the price that I purchased. In Korea, taxes are already included in the price and no tips. So always I take money smaller than I have to pay. I try to think about it, but it's hard to get used to it.

Now, talking about other part. I'm really surprised when I was crossing the street. There are no signals, but only crossroad. I start to cross, and guess what? All the cars, even far from me, I mean exactly opposite side from me stop and waiting for me. It's hard to believe, because in Korea, citizens have terrible driving manners. They didn't wait, only go fast fast.... sometimes they said abuses even it's green light. So, still, already I've been living here for three months, sometimes feel sorry to drivers, and appreciate. When I say thanks to them, always they smile and say have a good day. Really nice, isn't it? There must be some other differences but I notice that these two are the biggest.

There should be same things, but not a big,, so I just mentioned about only differences. No matter how the life different, I'll enjoy my Calgary life. You guys too~ enjoy the life in here, like a real Canadian.

For this long weekend, I had planned to go camping, but I couldn't because of the weather. Friday and Saturday,,,  you know ,, raining all days.

So, rather than go camping, I had a huge party!!!! How long?? For three days!!!! Can you believe it, three days long party??? It's just like welcoming spring party. Host mother invited 15 people and also me and my housemate invited 2 friends each. For party, we grilled sausages, steak and lots of other meat. Salad, taco, pizza, cake, pies,,,,,, too much food.. o_o!!

We drank beers, enjoyed food,, an had a fun talking each other. The next day, I rent a car from my host mother, and went driving. The Camero,, Super car! - of course you know this car, It was on the movie Transformer, as Bumblebee. I enjoy driving with my friends.

Actually I had more plans like go shopping, go to Drumheller, Banff, but I was so sick on monday,  So I couldn't do it. That's little bit disappointing, however, I really enjoyed this long long weekend. I'll have other chance to go camping someday.

Definition of success? Some people said money, others said pursuing dream,,, and so on. There is no exact answer to this question, right? But for me, achieve goal.

When I was high school student, I really want to be a doctor, so I try hard to get into the medical University. Spend my time studying, I finally made it. I'm very happy that time that I can remember feeling of that day still now. Now, I graduated university, and study in master courses. My short term goal is finishing my master course, and long- term goal? Open my own hospital, and get marry.  Of course, in realistic, make lots of money is kind of success. Also helping other people like Mother Teresa, is kind of success too, in idealistic, but to me persuading goal is the biggest success.

Then about dealing failure and success? I agree with Elizabeth Gilbert. Don't be afraid your failure. People can't always success. Failure is just kind of experience. You can learn from failure and try again, and someday, you'll make it. At failure, only that time, it will be pain. Obsess only to the goal is not good idea though, but don't forget abiut it. Keep in your mind, and try later. You'll achieved it.

Post#2 - Personal connection to a Song

I chose a song 'Hotel California' by the band group 'Eagles' to share with you. The group Eagle is an American band, start singing in LA, Califorina, 1971. Although they are old band and of course, this song is released long time ago, I  really love this song and have powerful connection with it.

I din't know this song very well but usually my grandfather had sung this song with playing guitar. I have lots of good memory with my grandfather from just talking to traveling around in my country. He passed away when I was high school student, and after, I listen this song when I want to recall memories about him.

One more thing, I was in the band, playing guitar. I started it when I was 14 years old. Now I'm not in it, cause it's like activity group of junior high and high school. At that time , band members are now living far away from each other and living different ways. Some of them already married, others are busy in doing his/her work. But you know? We have a connection : member of the Band and All of us like a song Hotel California!. So I can still in good relationship with those friends.

With links, you can hear this song, and I hope you'll enjoy the song and like it.
